We build with Purpose. We Wheel with Respect.

As passionate off-roaders, we follow the T.R.E.A.D Principles to preserve trails, protect access, and show respect to landowners, communities and nature. Those five values guide how we build and how we explore.

Travel Responsibly

  • Travel only in areas open to 4WD vehicles
  • Drive over, not around, obstacles to avoid widening the trail
  • Cross streams at designated fording points
  • When possible, avoid mud.
  • Go slow in soft terrain or unstable ground
  • Carry tools to make repairs and a kit to clean up any spills

Respect the rights of others

  • Leave gates as you find them and always get permissions to enter private property.
  • Yield to those traveling uphill, mountain bikers, hikers, and horses.
  • Keep speeds and noise low in crowded areas.

Educate Yourself

  • Check the weather before you go
  • Contact land managers for area restrictions or closures.
  • Take a skills course.
  • Know how to safely operate your machine and equipment.

Avoid Sensitive Areas

  • Stay on designated routes
  • Avoid meadows, lake shores, wetlands and streams
  • Remember motorize vehicles aren’t allowed in Federally designated Wilderness Areas

Do Your Part

  • Pack out all trash.
  • Leave it better than you found it.
  • Before and after your ride, wash your vehicle to avoid the spread of invasive species.
